 Chief Apostle/ Presiding Prelate 

His Grace, the Most Reverend, Apostle Dr. Jerry Lee Godbolt, Sr. is the Chief Apostle and Presiding Prelate of Nation of Life International Ministries Fellowship, Inc. and the Senior Pastor of Nation of Life Ministries, Inc. He is a Rhema–word preaching Pastor, an eloquent Teacher, a Shepherd after God’s heart and one of the leading latter-day Apostolic voices to the nations. Apostle Godbolt operates in excellence and pursues perfection in the Body of Christ. He serves as the 2nd Vice Presiding Prelate of the Gideon’s Army Apostolic International Gathering, Inc. (GAAIG) of Nassau, Bahamas, under Chief Apostle L. Wallace. He is also an ecumenical Bishop with the Apostolic Faith Churches of Deliverance (AFCOD), where Apostle C. Lykes, Sr. is Presiding Prelate. 

Apostle Godbolt is married to the love of his life, The Queen of The Nation, the lovely Lady Sha’Tavia Lezett Godbolt and is the proud father of seven: Joshua, Jeremy, Justin, Joseph, Micai, Jerry, Jr. and his little princess Shy'La La'Vae. He is also the proud grandfather of three, Jayniah, Joshua, Jr. and Jace Amir. A native of Miami, Florida, he resides in the beautiful city of Palmetto Bay. Born to the late Roderick L. Kelly and Mary Ann Godbolt-Cooper, he is the oldest of seven siblings. 

In 1997, Apostle Godbolt received ordination credentials as an Elder from the Florida East Coast Baptist Association. Shortly after, he was appointed to the Assistant Pastoral Position at Mt. Olive Missionary Baptist Church, where he served as Chief Assistant Pastor. In June 2001, Apostle Godbolt founded True Life Ministries, Where Holiness is the only True way to Live, Inc., which was later renamed Nation of Life Ministries, Inc. In July 2005, God elevated Apostle Godbolt to the office of Bishop and in September 2006 he was affirmed into his current presiding position. 

Apostle Godbolt is passionate about Episcopal Order within the Pentecostal and Apostolic Churches and he has served as Bishop of Protocol for many organizations and fellowships. He has ordained and installed a great number for elders and pastors throughout the Body of Christ. He has also served as ceremonialist, co-adjutor, consecrator and affirming apostle for countless numbers of consecrations and affirmations for bishops and apostles. His greatest level of excellence is displayed best during the ceremonies he performs. 

A former educator, he is currently employed by the State of Florida at Dade Correctional Institution where serves he serves as Chaplain, teaching, ministering and witnessing to over 1500 inmates daily. Apostle Godbolt has a Bachelor’s of Theology from the Jacksonville Baptist Theological Seminary. A Masters of Ministry and Honorary Doctorate of Divinity both from the Five Fold School of Theology and an Honorary Doctorate of Divinity from St. Thomas University. He also holds the prestigious Doctorate of Theology from Smith Theological University. 

Apostle is also the founder and establishmentarian of Nation of Life International Ministries Fellowship, Inc. where he mentors, empowers and awakens senior leaders to function and operate in their true apostolic call. He serves as Spiritual Father and Overseer to a number of pastors, churches and organizations throughout the state of Florida.Apostle Godbolt has countless numbers of accolades and honors yet, he attests that his greatest accomplishment is his relationship with his God, Jehovah.

Apostle Godbolt accredits his success in ministry to the training he received from his sainted grandmothers, Francis Nora Bell Williams and Deaconess Clay Ella Godbolt. Apostle Godbolt’s motto is “This is the Lord’s doing and it’s marvelous in our eyes,” and he lives by his favorite scripture, Psalm 34:1, “I will bless the Lord at all times, His praise shall continually be in my mouth.”
